WIN AN INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD FOR YOUR SCHOOL

The Newcastle Schools ICT Competition 2003, was launched at the Connect 2 Learning ICT Event 2003 more info, held at St. James' Park on 17th October 2003.
  Focus
The focus of the competition is;
“The creative use of ICT incorporating sound and video”
     
  Categories
The competition is broken in to the following categories;
    Foundation stage
    KS 1 & 2
    KS 3 & 4
    Special Education Needs (S.E.N.)
     
  Eligibility 
Open to all Newcastle maintained schools, nurseries and community nurseries ONE entry per school.
Entry to be produced entirely by the school. ICT consultant support may not be used.
     
  Submission
Must be submitted electronically and be ICT based, although supporting documentation may be included.
 
  Prizes
  • Multi-media PC and Printer for each category winner
  • Digital Blue Camera for each category runner up
  • Interactive Smartboard 560 and projector (fully installed)

  Timescales
    13 February 2004 - Deadline for Entries
     
  Judging
The judging panel included both LEA and DfES representatives.
