The Connect 2 Learning ICT Event 2003 was held at St. James' Park on 17th October 2003.
The purpose of this event was to:
 
  Celebrate achievements to date.
  Demonstrate and share good practice within schools.
  Raise awareness of virtual learning environments and online content.
  Discuss the ICT development planning process and sustainability issues.
  Discuss the communications infrastructure and internet services.
  Provide the opportunity for schools to purchase on-line content using e-learning credits via the marketplace, which will focus on curriculum online approved content suppliers.
 
An invitation to the event was made to two adult representatives from each school.
Connect 2 Learning Conference '03
 
As well as the main presentations that ran during the course of the day in the 'Brancepeth Suite' we increased this years number of seminar sessions to 15, running three times throughout the event.
In addition to the seminars an ICT 'Marketplace' ran throughout the course of the day.
