The Connect 2 Learning ICT Event 2002 was held at St. James' Park on 22nd January 2002.
The purpose of this event was to:
 
  Celebrate achievements to date.
  Demonstrate and share good practice within schools.
  Raise awareness of some of the online content and technologies available.
  Discuss the ICT development planning process.
  Discuss the communications infrastructure and internet services.
  Prepare for the fifth and future years of NGfL
 
An invitation to the event was made to three adult representatives.

As well as the main presentations that ran during the course of the day in the 'Brancepeth Suite' there were 10 seminar sessions running three times throughout the event.
In addition to the seminars an ICT 'Marketplace' ran throughout the course of the day.
